  This is hands down the worst supermarket I've ever been into. Everything about it is terrible. The quality of the produce and meat is so very poor and very overpriced. I'd put up with it if it was cheap but it actually isn't. The amazing thing is that this place has good reviews! It goes to show how low standards are in this town. The service is, for the most part, rude and lazy. When Ive made a complaint or questioned something I get told "that's not my department" or something along the lines of "I just work here".

  The amount of packaging used for their meat and produce is insane. They re-wrap their chickens onto polystyrene trays and then glad wrap it.

  Don't now why, but good quality Porterhouse is pretty well priced here! Other groceries are reasonably priced, especially for a country store. The bottle shop is pretty dire though!

  Haven't been able to shop recently so had heaps to buy at IGA. The staff are always helpful and today was no exception. When I was looking for potatoes one staff member told me which ones were on special and where to find them and another staff member went and found the best bag for me. I love shopping locally, I cannot believe how incredibly kind the staff at IGA are, even asking if I need help getting out to the car. You don't get that in any large town. I find the prices here are very competitive and if some things are a little more, who wants to drive for an hours and spend on petrol.
