  Best pies in Australia. Chunky beef pies were sold out when we arrived before 1pm. Guess that shows how popular they are! Nevertheless the minced ones were delicious too. Worth the drive all the way from Kyneton.

  for the life of me, I'll never understand the success of this place. I've been several times, but never again. The coffee is more milk than coffee, & awful. Pre-made rolls and quiches etc are just ok, and the last time I went to get something for my 5 year old, the scroll I got could almost have broken your teeth it was so old & stale. It went straight into the bin, which reminds me...so did a takeaway coffee I bought here once before!

  The lemon meringue pie was wonderful last time and this time a new lemon yoghurt muffin hit the sweet spot.
